Two BioPreferred Participants Recognized for Innovative Biobased Products

As part of the World Bio Markets 2018 Conference, Bio-based World News recognized innovative biobased products. Among the companies winning awards were BioPreferred participants Chemours™ and Clean Plus, Inc.

Chemours™ received recognition for their product, Teflon EcoElite™. Teflon EcoElite™ finish is a renewably sourced fabric treatment for water repellency and is being used with water resistant apparel. [News Article]

Clean Plus, Inc. received recognition for their Drip Trap® Granules. Drip Trap® Granules, a USDA Certified Biobased Product, are made entirely from corn stalks. Production of this product has led to the commissioning of a pilot plant in Minnesota to manufacture this product. [News Article]
